Who is your entrepreneur crush?

Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Actress, Film producer, Humanitarian and Entrepreneur.

Priyanka is a source of inspiration to the many. She’s invested in technologies such as the Bumble app, and works with businesses with a social commitment and spearheaded by women. She is named a Global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. In a recent speech she gave at the World Economic Forum 2020 in Davos – she urged women to come forward saying: “I want to live in a place where a woman’s ability to succeed should be a human basic right, and not based on geography or chance,”. To me that’s a woman with purpose, cause and class. Plus, she’s stunning. 🙂

Name one book that blew your mind…

The Code of the Extraordinary Mind, by Vishen Lakhiani.

It challenges you to stop living in auto-pilot and outlines techniques in which you can recode, upgrade, super-charge your mind, so you can become extraordinary. The concepts in the book really do blow your mind!

What is one start up on the rise that you love?

Blippar. This is a technology company specialising in augmented reality. It brings the digital world to life through physical experiences, think an online shopping experience that has you in the frame.

Your best tech tip of the moment?

Use automation. Automate aspects of your business, so you can focus on the things that matter. For example; Mailchimp to sequence emails, Calendly to take online bookings, Buffer for social media scheduling and Square to automate your digital invoicing.
